Continued lack of progress

Stephen is doing well with the things he wants to do but continues to shy away from direct engagement with important stuff.

The project he wanted to do as an Eagle project was deemed not extensive enough so now he's got to find something else to do. He has nantes and numbers of people that can help him but he doesn't call them.

He is extremely distracted by YouTube and other Internet activities. I'm concerned that he will let these and other distractions prevent him from earning his Eagle rank.

Texting struggles continue

So he lost his phone at the end of the last school year because he got a D.  Now he sneaks his Kindle to bed after we go to bed.  So he can communicate with his girlfriend.

We've tried several different things but he continues to test.  I know he will win in the end - when he turns 18 he can do the things he wants to do.  But for now he needs to listen to me and his mother and do what we ask him to do.

I'll try to dump stuff here so I don't lose it dealing with him.
